Are you wondering if nursing is for you and would like someone to talk to about what it's like to be a nurse, what type of nursing might be good for you, if you should pursue the field in the first place, or even if you should consider another option in healthcare.... I am here to help you. I started off thinking that I was going to become a pharmacist. Then I realized that wasn't for me. I then considered physical therapy, occupational therapy, and even coaching. I started thinking I was going to go to medical school, so my first two years of college I was premed. There came a point when I realized that was not the path for me. Through shadowing different people of varying health professions, talking to many people about my decision, doing a lot of research, and trusting my gut.... I finally decided that nursing was the right path for me. Unfortunately not everyone has access to medical providers right off the bat and so I am here to be a guide for you. As someone who has gone through this process before, I want to be here to guide you. This session will also be beneficial to you if: - you are already a nurse and want to talk to a nurse who has furthered her education. - you are trying to decide what type of masters or doctorate to get within nursing.
